Purpose of Meeting

Join the Forest Park Board of Health for its current episode of Well-Being Wednesdays, held in-person and virtually. This month, we hear from Lindsay Baish-Flynn (see bio below), a therapist who knows full-well from personal and professional experience the assets of those with ADHD, Autism, etc. including brilliant minds, creative passions, and deep emotions. She also knows that neurodivergent children and adults often struggle with emotional outbursts, rigid thinking, impulsive behavior, peer rejection, isolation, low self-esteem and difficulty with follow through. In her presentation, Lindsay will focus on how to best support your neurodivergent child as they navigate the world of friendships and romantic partnerships, including three important areas to focus on, with related parenting and relationship tips, and relevant, supportive conversations to have with your co-parent.
