For every kid who has ever tried to climb on our furniture, an obstacle course inspired by what is possibly the most popular playground game of all time. Compete for bragging rights and test your skills to a backing soundtrack fit for a warrior.

Join us for a summer reading event! We will give you the scoop on the hot books of the summer, some music themed books and how to participate in summer reading.

The library is honored to present Grammy-winning artist Dan Zanes and Haitian-American vocalist, author, and music therapist Claudia Zanes, in concert for the first time at FPPL.  Designed for kids ages 6 and younger and their families.

Enjoy the fresh air and stop by our family storytime at Popelka Park. We will meet at the library should there be inclement weather. We encourage attendees to sign up so we can notify you of any last-minute weather-related changes of location.

A girl with a vivid imagination and a love for books finds a way to triumph despite a difficult home life to defeat a bully of a headmistress.

We will look at examples of symbols in famous art pieces from the past, as well as actual codes hidden in art pieces, before creating our own masterpieces with secret ciphers hidden within. Designed for ages 5 and up.

Spend an evening at the Forest Park Public Library with a variety of tabletop games. Either compete against each other, or work together, with games such as Catan, Flashpoint, and Ticket to Ride.

The Kona Ice Truck will be paying a visit to the Library. Enjoy a free cup of shaved ice from the Library while supplies last. First come, first served. One per person.
