Class involves a series of movements performed in a slow gentle way. Focus on breathing and body awareness in this slow moving form of meditation.  Some basic familiarity with Tai Chi is expected.  

Pick up a craft kit and get creative!

The kit contains a small wooden latched box and paint.

Based in the Chicago area, Noelle Garcia is an artist and educator who focuses on themes of identity, family history and recovered narratives in her work. She is an indigenous artist from the Klamath and Paiute tribes.

Ojibwa author and speaker Kim Sigafus will be giving a presentation on Native gardening and harvest. It will include traditions of the Native people, and music and drumming in celebration of those traditions.
