Event Details
Today's Topic: Field Trip to the Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio in Oak Park
Frank Lloyd Wright used his first home to experiment with design concepts that contain the seeds of his architectural philosophy. In his adjacent studio, Wright and his associates developed a new American architecture - the Prairie style. Trained interpreters offer insights into Wright's family life and architectural career.
Transportation from the Library will be provided. Thank you to the Howard Mohr Community Center!
REGISTRATION REQUIRED
We want the Library to be your happy place. All older adults (55+) are invited to join in for some special community time each week. We’ll talk and share interests, enjoy guest speakers, and keep ourselves active, engaged, and well-informed.
