Jane Eyre:  Spring Book Discussion

The Victorian underdog Jane Eyre’s insistence on her own integrity through every twist and turn of this legendary gothic romance has thrilled and transformed generations of readers since its publication in 1847.  Read this wonderful classic with us this April.  Experience the fire in this novel for the first time or all over again.  

How this book discussion will work:

  • Register!
  • Books are available for check out beginning March 18 at the Library (just ask at the Info Desk) or you can read the ebook or listen to the audiobook on Hoopla.
  • You will receive an email each week throughout April with discussion questions and other resources to consider.
  • We will read a certain number of chapters each week, but you can always read ahead.
  • If you are interested in sharing your thoughts as you read, we will have a discussion board through Padlet (an easy to use online resource that requires only basic registration)  This online discussion will be moderated by Forest Park reader, Marzell Barker.  
  • There will be an in-person book discussion moderated by FPPL’s Skye Lavin on Sunday, May 3 at 2pm
