Benvenuti, bambini! (Welcome, children!)
Little ones get a taste of what Italy and its culture is all about, listen to a story, and enjoy music and movement activities with Maestra Claudia, founder of Fantavolando, an Italian Arts and Culture school.
About Maestra Claudia: I was born and raised in Italy. After graduating in Archeology I moved to France, where I combined my two passions, the love for art and history and the love for children and teaching. I have been teaching Italian language and culture since 2016 and I specialize myself in teaching techniques for bilingual children. I collaborate in initiatives involving French and Swiss schools. I focused in teaching the Italian language to children through innovative methods involving puppets, theater and "let's pretend" games. I attend multiple advanced training courses and innovative teaching methodologies, making me the spokesperson for the "Teatro in gioco" method. I moved to Chicago five years ago. Last year I finally realized my dream... Fantavolando, the Italian school based in Naperville, was born. I am happy to be able to share my experience with all the children I will meet on my way.
