Event Details

Experience the vibrant and intricate world of Mexican tin art, known as Hojalata, with guidance from Fannie Medina of Creative Vida! Hojalata (oh-ha-LA-ta), or tin art, is a form of Mexican folk art made by pressing delicate lines into thick aluminum sheets and adding vibrant colors. This workshop will introduce you to the traditional techniques of embossing and painting on tin to create your own unique decorative pieces. Designed for Grades 5-7.
