The Harvest: A Gathering for Collective Care and fellowship

Event Details

Join us for The Harvest, a gathering rooted in service, creativity, and collective care. In partnership with Nourishing Those in Need, and the Forest Park Public Library, we will spend the afternoon preparing and delivering essentials to our unhoused neighbors in Oak Park and Forest Park.

From 3:00–4:15 PM, we’ll come together inside the Forest Park Library to assemble care packages with stations for lunch making, card writing, and packing essential items. At 4:15 PM, we will head out in small groups to distribute these offerings directly to our community.

All food will be sourced from Living Fresh — the largest Black-owned grocery store in the country — as we uplift Black business and pour back into those who pour into us.

This gathering is free and open to the community. 

When we serve our people, we sow seeds of hope — and together, we harvest joy.
