Program Description

Event Details

The Moon Festival is the second biggest holiday on the Chinese Lunar calendar next to the Lunar New Year. It falls on September 17th, 2024. Besides a harvest celebration, it is also a time to remember the Moon Goddess in her Moon Palace on the Moon with rabbits as her friendly companions. Outside and within China, many people eat moon cakes. Come and learn about the Moon Goddess and make a Moon Festival craft.

This event is presented by Yvonne Wolf of Chinese Intercultural.
